Slowness as Resistance: Finding Your Rhythm In The Noise

$10.00
Limit 2 per order

In the era of AI and acceleration, speed is mistaken for success. Finding your rhythm means asking yourself: what tempo of working, being, and resting allows me to create meaningfully, sustainably, and in alignment with both spirit and material?

This interactive session will move you, literally and metaphorically. We will listen (individually with our headphones) to a full podcast episode about slowness separately as we touch grass in Pasadena. As we are listening, we will be moving at our own pace. After we finish the episode, we will gather together in the grass for a conversation about our own rhythms: our blockers and sources of friction, our different models for pleasure, and how to find the tempo that makes it all click together.

Coffee, light bites, journals and sunscreen will be provided, please bring a blanket for grazing in the grass. Additionally, in the spirit of slowing down and enriching our summer reading lists, please bring a book to exchange with someone.

When: Saturday June 6 from 9A - 11:30A

Where: Pasadena (location provided upon RSVP confirmation)
